Crafted for those who create with purpose.

Integrity in Every Fleece.

St Enochs. Pure Merino Wool.

We empower visionary fashion designers to push creative boundaries with confidence.

Too many brands sell to consumers when they could be creating for people. Fast fashion has stripped the soul from what should be an art. At St Enochs we honour the traditions that keep quality alive. Our pure merino sheep grow beautiful natural fibres, nurtured and raised through generations of stewardship and skill.

Every fleece we produce carries the integrity of craft, care, and connection. We exist to help artists restore the soul of fashion and remind people that true style begins with respect for the land, the maker, and the material.

Our Animals

Crafted by Nature.

Honoured by Hand.

At St Enochs, our Merino sheep are not commodities, they are the heart of our craft. Raised with patience, respect, and generational knowledge, our flock is shaped by attentive stewardship rather than industrial pace. Healthy animals produce exceptional fibre. We believe quality begins long before the fleece is shorn.

Every sheep reflects a commitment to welfare, balance, and time-honoured princples that allows nature to do what it does best.

Our Land

Volcanic Pastures.

Luminous Wool.

Our sheep graze on pastures grown in rich red volcanic soil, soil shaped by ancient geology and renewed through careful land management. This mineral-dense earth plays a quiet but vital role in the wool we produce, enhancing the natural brightness, soft handle, and balanced length of every fleece.

The contrast is unmistakable: red earth, luminous fibre. It is a reminder that true quality is inseparable from place, and that the land leaves its signature on everything it sustains.

Our Process

Handled with Intention.

From Fleece to Fibre.

We prioritise integrity and excellence. Working slowly and deliberately, honouring traditional practices refined through generations while embracing thoughtful innovation where it serves the fibre. From grazing to shearing, sorting, and handling, every stage is guided by precision and care. .

This considered process protects the natural properties of the fleece, its fineness, character and comfort, ensuring the fibre arrives in the hands of makers exactly as nature intended.

The result is a consistent fibre averaging 16.8 micron with a calm, refined handle and staple integrity suited to fine worsted spinning. The fibre, grown by unmulesed, pure merino sheep, has been selected within a narrow fineness band with a focus on clarity, balance and composure.

As a sixth generation family business that is RWS Accredited, St Enochs can provide discreet volumes with a focus on supporting long term grower-mill partnerships.

The result is a 17.5 micron, superfine Merino fleece — bright, lustrous, and beautifully crimped with a naturally low drape coefficient, offering discerning makers not just exceptional wool, but an invitation to create with intention, care, and longevity.
